Our Annual Run/Walk for Mercy 5K
The 2012 Run for Mercy competitive 5k and 10k and leisure run will take
place on Saturday May 12th 2012 at the Campbell Valley Regional Park in
Langley, BC. The Run for Mercy is an incredible atmosphere of unity, support and hope! This exciting Competitive and Family 5K takes place once a year. We run and walk together for the rescue of all young women from the prison of
starvation, addiction, self harm and abuse. You can participate with your family, your church, your business, old friends and new ones.
Dollar 4 Mercy
A flexible and accessible church-based event, Dollar 4 Mercy
is an opportunity for your church or organization to focus on Mercy
Ministries for one Sunday. You may schedule your Dollar 4 Mercy event at
any time during the year, choosing the Sunday that works best for your
faith family.
We have a team of passionate advocates that are ready to come to your church to share the vision of Mercy Ministries in person. Or, if you prefer, we can provide talking points, graphics, a bulletin insert and brochures along with our 6 minute DVD presentation for you to lead the event.
At the conclusion of the 10-15 minute presentation, everyone in your church is asked to donate one dollar to Mercy Ministries. We have heard powerful stories from these Sundays. It is an excellent way to encourage your church, share stories of freedom from within your congregation, reach out to young women in your community that may be in need of Mercy, provide resources to those that need them and support the work of Mercy.
If you are interested in hosting a Dollar 4 Mercy in your church or organization, click here for full details.Conferences and Speaking Opportunities
We are honoured to participate in a variety of conferences and events throughout the year.We are happy to participate as keynote speakers, lead a workshop or session on the life-controlling issues that we work with on a daily basis, give a short 10 minute talk to introduce Mercy to the group or even just set up a resource table with brochures and advocates available to answer questions.
Typically, we post these types of events on our Facebook Events page.
If your church or organization is hosting an event, we'd love to be there.
